The present study sought to determine the effect of students’ life at school on academic &#13;
performance in O’Level in G.SNyarugenge. This study is made of three specific objectives; to &#13;
examine the effect of students’ life at school on academic performance, to investigate on &#13;
students’academic life and related challenges at GS.NYARUGENGE and to find out the &#13;
measures which should be taken to handle students ‘problems related to their academic &#13;
performance in O’ Level due to their life situation at G.S Nyarugenge. This study used a &#13;
descriptive design using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Sample was made of 98 &#13;
respondents selected in entire population of 428 respondents

This study examined the influence of individual personality on English learning in G.S &#13;
Rugarama especially advanced level (Literature Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda. The objectives that &#13;
guided the study included: i) to find out types of personality traits of G.S Rugarama learners &#13;
while learning English; ii) to investigate on students ‘challenges in English learning and &#13;
performance and iii) to examine the influence of individual personality on learning English at &#13;
G.S Rugarama. The study adopted a case study design and a cross-sectional survey design also &#13;
deploying both qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze data. The study population was&#13;
781 (2 school staff, 10 teachers and 769 learners)

The study entitled the use of improvisation in teaching and learning for better performance&#13;
in English. In G.S ST Pierre Nkombo, Rusizi district case investigated the impacts of &#13;
improvisation in teaching and learning in English.as a case study. The study was guided with &#13;
three objectives such as: firstly,to determine the extent to which the improvisation method is &#13;
used in teaching and learning English lesson. Secondly to establish the learners‘ and teachers‘ &#13;
perception on the use of improvisations in teaching and learning process. and thirdly to identify &#13;
the importance of using improvisation method in teaching and learning process.The study &#13;
adopted both qualitative and quantitative approaches to collect data from a sample of 172.
