Abstract

Background: Anemia is a condition in which the concentration of hemoglobin or pack cell volume or number of red blood cells are below normal range Objectives: General objective of the study assessment of knowledge and attitude about prevention of anemia on pregnancy women attending Kibogora district hospital Methodology: this study is a cross-sectional research design, which is a population-based quantitative approach designed to assess the knowledge and attitude about prevention of anemia on pregnancy women attending Kibogora district hospital, the sampling will involve A convenient sampling method which is a non probability sampling technique, the questionnaires item will be used as the data collection instrument and data analysis will be performed by statistical package for social sciences result will be presented using frequent table.
