Abstract:
Introduction
The complications of diabetes mellitus is the major health problem among diabetic populations and it is a significant burden of care on the individual, health care professionals and the wider health system. Individuals with diabetes are 2-4 times more likely to develop cardiovascular disease relative to the general population and have a 2-5fold greater risk of dying from these conditions.
