Abstract:
Malnutrition is a pathological state resulting from a relative or absolute deficiency
or excess of one or more essential nutrients. According to World Health Organization, globally child malnutrition is major health issue with different public consequences especially for children survival, damaging the mental and physical development of children as well as the economic productivity of individual and even of societies.
Description:
Malnutrition among children is one of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality in the world, particularly in developing countries (Tigabu., S. Amsalu and T., 2008.) It is the most important risk factor for the burden of disease causing about 300,000 deaths per year directly or indirectly responsible for more than half of the all deaths in children (S. Amsalu and T. Tigabu, 2008.)
