Abstract:

This study in titled the role of woman empowerment in promoting economic development in Rwanda, case study of Mahembe sector aimed at analyzing role of woman empowerment in promoting economic development with three specific objectives with was to identify various economic sector where there is participation of women in mahembe sector, to evaluate role of woman empowerment in promoting economic development and to identify the barriers that hinder women's empowerment in promoting economic development in the Mahembe sector all objective are achieved.
