Abstract:

This study was conducted on impact of internet banking system on banking environment in Nyamasheke District, the aims of this study was to assess the impact of internet banking on banking environment in Nyamasheke district, particularly in BPR Rwanda plc, Kibogora branch,it have three specific objectives that are To analyse the internet banking services offered by BPR Rwanda plc, Kibogora branch to the customers,To examine the banking environment situation due to internet banking system in BPR Rwanda plc, Kibogora branch and To find out challenges and possible mitigating solutions related to internet banking system in BPR Rwanda plc, Kibogora branch.
