Abstract:
Background of the study :In 2014, 8.5% of adults aged 18 years and older had diabetes. In 2019,
diabetes was the direct cause of 1.5 million deaths and 48% of all deaths due to diabetes occurred
before the age of 70 years. (WHO, 2021)The global prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)
was estimated to be approximately 9% among adults in 2015
Problem Statement:The problematic of the study presented here, was that the lack of self-care
management in patients with Diabetes Mellitus which leads to complications then increase the
number of hospitalizations in different hospitals then high rate occupation at last the death occurs
when patients are not getting the appropriate care
